Farewell to 2022 batch of ECE Students
On 21st July 2022 the students from 2nd and 3rd Years, arranged a farewell to the final year outgoing students. Farewell is basically a get-to-gather. A kind of celebration for the seniors who will be soon stepping out of the institute. Hence juniors wish their seniors a good luck for their next big adventures.
Dextrix Fest: An event to remember
The Dextrix fest ’22 was conducted by BITmangaluru in association with the Department of Computer Science & Engineering on the 18th & 19th of July. The fest was a great success and saw a lot of participation from students & staff. The fest was a great opportunity for students to showcase their talent and learn from each other.
BIT farewell function – 2018 – 2022
A farewell function was held on the 20th of July for the students of Computer Science and Engineering batch 2018 – 2022 at the International Seminar Hall, BIT Mangalore. The event was a chance for students to say goodbye to their classmates and professors, and to reflect on their time at the university.

Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) organized an insightful technical talk on the topic” Image Encryption and Recognition for Signature and Palm Print” on 12th July 2022 at 2:30 PM in the International Seminar Hall.
Mechanical Engg. Industrial Visit to KIOCL Limited, Mangalore
The students first visited the training division at KIOCL limited. Mr Shivaraj, Head of the Training division briefed about the company. Then students visited the ore collecting centre, captive power plant, pallet plant, ball mill, filtration unit, vacuum filters and blast furnace.
Mechanical Engineering Department Conducted Sports Day “MECHSPO-2022”
The Department of Mechanical Engineering successfully conducted Sports day “MECHSPO-2022” on 1st July 2022 for the students and staff of Mechanical Engineering Department. All the students and staff of Mechanical Engineering were actively participated in the sports day and had a great success.

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at BIT, Mangalore, organized an insightful guest lecture on “Introduction to Low Power VLSI Design” on Friday, 1st July 2022 at 2:30 PM in the Seminar Hall.
Industrial Visit to Gurucharan Industries, Mangalore
Industrial visits allow the students to learn practically through interaction, working methods and employment practices. It gives the students exposure to current work practices instead of theoretical knowledge being taught in their college classrooms.
