The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at BIT, Mangalore, organized an insightful guest lecture on “Introduction to Low Power VLSI Design” on Friday, 1st July 2022 at 2:30 PM in the Seminar Hall.
The session was delivered by Prof. Mohammed Zakir B, Professor, Department of ECE, PACE, Mangalore, who shared his in-depth knowledge and expertise on the principles, methodologies, and recent advancements in the field of low-power VLSI design.
The event commenced with a warm welcome address by Dr. Abdullah Gubbi, Head of the Department of ECE. He highlighted the significance of low-power design in modern electronics and encouraged students to explore emerging research areas in VLSI.
Ms. Nafisath T.P., Assistant Professor in the Department of ECE, coordinated the event and played a key role in its successful organization. The proceedings of the event were efficiently managed by the Master of Ceremony, Ms. Rashmi, The lecture was well-received by the students and faculty, who found it both informative and thought-provoking. The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session.
