Bearys Institute of Technology (BIT), Mangaluru, proudly congratulates Mr. Muhammad Humaid, a 2nd Year Mechanical Engineering student, for his outstanding achievements in Karate at the university, state, and national levels.
Mr. Humaid secured 1st place in the VTU State Level Karate Championship held in November 2025. He further brought laurels to the institution by winning 1st place in both Kata and Kumite events at the 2nd National Karate Championships conducted on December 21, 2025.
In recognition of his consistent excellence, Mr. Humaid has been selected to represent the All India Inter-University South West Zone. He has also received top honors in various VTU sports events during the academic year 2024–25.
The student was felicitated and congratulated by Dr. S. I. Manjur Basha, Dr. Kamalakannan C, and Mr. Ansar, who appreciated his dedication, discipline, and commitment to excellence.
