The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Bearys Institute of Technology, Mangalore, organized the Farewell Function 2026 for the outgoing 2022–2026 batch students on 25th May 2026 at the Seminar Hall under the banner of MESA (Mechanical Engineering Students Association).
The program began with a prayer. Dr. Imran Mokashi, Head of the Department, welcomed the dignitaries, faculty members, and students. A memories video highlighting the students’ academic journey was presented during the event.
Dr. C. Kamalakannan, Principal of Bearys Institute of Technology, addressed the gathering and motivated the students for their future endeavors. Faculty members shared their experiences and best wishes, while outgoing student representatives expressed gratitude and shared memorable moments from their time in the department.
Prizes for “Ideathon 2026” were distributed to the winners in recognition of their innovative ideas and performance.
The program concluded with the vote of thanks by Dr. Mohamed Kafeel Delvi, MESA Coordinator, followed by a group photograph session. Mr. Saifulla served as the Master of Ceremony and conducted the program smoothly.
