The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Bearys Institute of Technology (BIT) Mangalore organized a successful “Technical Talk” on 22nd September 2023. The academic community at Bearys Institute of Technology was filled with excitement as they played host to the distinguished guest, Dr. S.A. Khan from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). Dr. Khan’s lecture on the “Numerical and Experimental Study of Passive Control of Ribs at Sonic and Supersonic Mach Numbers with Application of Neural Network” drew scholars, faculty, and students from across disciplines.
The event, presided over by the esteemed Dr. SI Manjur Basha, Principal of Bearys Institute of Technology, witnessed the presence of several other dignitaries, including Dr. Vasantha Kumar, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Bearys Institute of Technology, and Dr. Abdullah Gubbi, Professor and Head of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering.
