The “Campus Connect & Talent Hunt – 2026” was successfully organized by the Bearys Group of Institutions at the Bearys Knowledge Campus (BKC), Innoli, Mangalore, on 11 April 2026. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, parents, and educators across Mangalore and surrounding regions.
The program commenced with a warm welcome address by Dr. C. Kamalakannan, Principal of Bearys Institute of Technology (BIT), who emphasized the importance of holistic education and encouraged students to pursue both academic excellence and personal development.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. S. I. Manjur Basha, Director of BKC, highlighted the institution’s strong commitment to quality education and overall student development. The event was smoothly anchored by Master of Ceremony Joyson Merinda.
More than 200 students registered and appeared for the Talent Hunt Examination, reflecting strong interest and active participation. The initiative aimed to identify academic talent while offering opportunities for scholarships and career advancement.
One of the major highlights of the event was the Project Expo, featuring 48 innovative projects that demonstrated students’ creativity, technical skills, and practical knowledge. Adding vibrancy to the event, a Food Festival with 10 stalls provided an engaging and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
A special career guidance session was conducted by Mr. Ameen E Mudassir, offering valuable insights into academic pathways and future career opportunities. Additionally, Riyaz, Secretary of MIEF, Mangalore, delivered an inspiring message encouraging students to make the most of educational opportunities.
As a significant recognition of merit, 36 students were awarded scholarships based on their performance in the examination. This initiative aimed to motivate deserving students and support them in pursuing higher education.
The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks proposed by Abdul Latheef, Principal of BIPUC, who expressed gratitude to all organizers, participants, and guests for contributing to the success of the program.
