BIT Hosts Talk on the Ill Effects of Drug Abuse Aimed at Creating a Drug-Free Mangalore

BIT Mangalore took a proactive step in addressing the detrimental effects of drug abuse by hosting an insightful talk titled “On the Ill Effects of Drug Abuse.” The event at International Seminar Hall aimed to raise awareness and foster a collective commitment to making Mangalore a drug-free city. The talk featured distinguished speakers Mr. Nagaraj, PSI, and Mr. Mohan, ASI from the Konaje Police Station, who provided valuable insights into the consequences of drug abuse.

The talk drew a diverse audience comprising students, faculty members, and heads, to engage in the fight against drug abuse. The atmosphere was filled with anticipation and a determination to tackle the issue head-on.

Mr. Nagaraj PSI, representing the Konaje Police Station, commenced the talk by shedding light on the alarming statistics and the impact of drug abuse on society.
