The Internship Cell of Bearys Institute of Technology organized a Student Orientation Programme on VTU Internship Scheme – 2022 on 26 August 2025 for the final-year students of the Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, Civil, and Mechanical Engineering Departments. The session was conducted to familiarize students with the internship guidelines, registration procedures, and industry expectations.
The programme was inaugurated in the presence of Dr. S. I. Manjur Basha, Principal, Dr. Imran Mokashi, Institute Internship Coordinator, Department Internship Coordinators, and the participating students. Addressing the gathering, the Principal emphasized the importance of internships in enhancing employability, developing professional competencies, and bridging the gap between academic learning and industry requirements.
During the technical session, Dr. Imran Mokashi provided a comprehensive overview of the VTU Internship Guidelines – 2022, demonstrated the student registration process on the VTU Internship Portal, explained company selection procedures, internship documentation, stipend opportunities, and students’ roles and responsibilities. He also introduced the Skill Enhancement Courses (SEC) offered by VTU as an alternative pathway where applicable. The programme concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session, enabling students to clarify their queries related to registration and internship procedures.
