The Internship Cell of Bearys Institute of Technology conducted the second Student Orientation Programme on the VTU Internship Scheme – 2022 on 28 August 2025 for the final-year students of the Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) and Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) departments. The programme aimed to familiarize students with the VTU internship process and prepare them for successful industry engagement.
The session was attended by Dr. S. I. Manjur Basha, Principal, Dr. Imran Mokashi, Institute Internship Coordinator, Department Internship Coordinators, and the participating students. In his address, the Principal highlighted the importance of internships in developing practical skills, teamwork, and industry exposure, encouraging students to make the most of the opportunities available.
During the orientation, Dr. Imran Mokashi provided a detailed overview of the VTU Internship Scheme – 2022, explaining the student registration process on the VTU Internship Portal, account management, company selection, stipend-based internship opportunities, documentation requirements, and student responsibilities. He also introduced the Skill Enhancement Courses (SEC) as an alternative option under the VTU guidelines. The programme concluded with an interactive discussion, where students clarified their queries regarding internships, stipend eligibility, and SEC options.
