The Internship Cell, in association with IQAC, organized an Internship Coordinators Meeting on 22 August 2025 at the Board Room, Bearys Institute of Technology, Mangaluru. The meeting was chaired by Dr. S. I. Manjur Basha, Principal, and attended by Heads of Departments, the Placement & Training Officer, and Internship Cell members.
The meeting focused on the effective implementation of the VTU Internship Scheme – 2022 for final-year students. Dr. Imran Mokashi, Institute Internship Coordinator, presented the VTU internship guidelines, explained the internship portal, and discussed the roles of students, departments, and industry partners. A demonstration of the VTU Internship Portal was also conducted, covering student and company registration procedures. Plans for conducting student orientation programmes and strengthening industry collaborations were finalized. Department heads were instructed to ensure timely registration and coordination, while the Placement & Training Cell assured support in facilitating internship opportunities. The meeting concluded with a roadmap for successful execution of the internship programme through coordinated efforts and adherence to VTU guidelines.
