The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering of Bearys Institute of Technology (BIT), Mangalore, celebrated its grand cultural fest “TARANGOTSAV 2K25 – A Transcendent ECE Cultural Fiesta” on 21st November 2025 at the International Seminar Hall. The event showcased the artistic talents, creativity, and cultural spirit of ECE students through a full-day celebration of rhythm, art, and vibrant performances.
The programme commenced at 9:30 AM with an enthusiastic welcome speech by Mahisha Shaik, a 7th-semester ECE student. She warmly greeted the dignitaries, faculty, and students, setting an energetic tone for the day’s celebrations.
Dr. Abdullah Gubbi, HOD of ECE, Addressing the gathering, he emphasized the role of cultural activities in fostering confidence, teamwork, and innovation among students. He congratulated the BEASPIRE student association and faculty coordinators for organizing such a meaningful and memorable event. who highlighted the importance of cultural engagement in shaping well-rounded engineering graduates. He appreciated the students’ dedication and encouraged them to continue balancing academics with creativity and extracurricular excellence.
Throughout the day, students presented a variety of performances—classical and contemporary dances, music, art displays, and creative cultural expressions—reflecting the theme of unity in diversity.
The event was seamlessly coordinated by Prof. Nikhitha C, BEASPIRE & Cultural Coordinator, who ensured the success of the programme with the support of faculty and student volunteers.
The Master of Ceremonies (MC) for the event was, Shabaz S. M., 7th-sem ECE. The programme concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by Nida, 7th-sem ECE.The cultural fiesta served as a platform for students to showcase their talents, celebrate togetherness, and enhance the spirit of the ECE fraternity at BIT.
