Venue: Central Library
Department of Computer Science & Engineering
Date: 08 May 2024

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized an informative Virtual Lab Workshop on 8th May 2024 at the Central Library to enhance students’ practical learning experience through digital simulation tools. The workshop aimed to familiarize students with online virtual lab platforms that support remote experimentation and conceptual understanding.

The session was inaugurated by the Librarian and coordinated by faculty members from the CSE Department. They highlighted the benefits of virtual labs, especially in providing students with hands-on exposure to experiments anytime and anywhere, complementing traditional laboratory sessions.

During the workshop, students were introduced to:

  • Various Government of India Virtual Lab Portals
  • Simulation-based learning tools
  • Online experiment modules for programming, databases, OS, networks, and electronics
  • Step-by-step procedure to access, perform, and submit virtual lab experiments

Faculty demonstrators guided students in performing sample experiments, navigating the virtual environments, and understanding experiment outcomes. Students gained a clear understanding of how virtual labs enhance conceptual clarity and support self-paced learning.

The workshop saw active participation from students, who appreciated the interactive demonstrations and the opportunity to explore digital lab resources. The library environment provided a conducive space for hands-on practice and collaborative learning.

Overall, the Virtual Lab Workshop held on 08.05.2024 was a valuable and engaging session, helping students expand their technical skills and adapt to modern digital learning tools.
