Date: 05 September 2024

The Departments of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) and Artificial Intelligence & Data Science (AIDS) jointly celebrated Teachers’ Day on 5th September 2024 to honor the dedication, commitment, and invaluable contributions of the teaching fraternity. The celebration was organized by the students to pay tribute to their teachers on the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the former President of India and an eminent scholar.

The program began with a warm welcome by the student coordinators, followed by a floral tribute to Dr. Radhakrishnan. Students expressed their gratitude through speeches acknowledging the crucial role teachers play in shaping their academic journey and personal growth.

A series of cultural performances—including songs, skits, dance sequences, and poetry recitals—were presented by students from both departments. Fun games and interactive sessions were organized to engage the faculty members and create a joyful and appreciative atmosphere.

The Heads of the Departments addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of a positive student–teacher relationship and encouraging students to uphold the values of respect and learning. Faculty members also shared their reflections and appreciation for the students’ efforts in organizing the event.

Mementoes and appreciation cards were presented to all teaching and non-teaching staff as a token of respect and gratitude. Light refreshments were arranged for everyone at the end of the program.

The celebration successfully fostered a spirit of respect, joy, and togetherness. The Teachers’ Day program of CSE and AIDS departments held on 05.09.2024 was a memorable and heartfelt event, strengthening the bond between students and faculty.
