Mangaluru: Bearys Institute of Technology (BIT), Mangaluru, in association with the IEEE BIT Student Branch and Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), organized an interactive session titled “Fly Beyond Limits: Technology, Innovation and the Entrepreneurial Mindset” on August 13, 2026, at the International Seminar Hall, BIT.
The interactive session was led by Mr. Uyes Inamdar, Founder of Berry Avionics and Co-Founder of Space Teck Global, a drone entrepreneur and technology innovator. The session provided students with an opportunity to engage directly with an industry expert and gain insights into the rapidly developing field of drone technology and its entrepreneurial potential.
Mr. Inamdar interacted extensively with the students, discussing the latest developments in drone technology, real-world applications and the opportunities available for young engineers in the drone and emerging technology sectors. He shared experiences from his entrepreneurial journey and encouraged students to identify real-world problems, develop innovative technological solutions and explore entrepreneurship.
The session was highly engaging, with students actively participating through questions, discussions and interactions with the resource person.The speaker emphasized that innovation begins with identifying genuine problems and developing practical solutions. He encouraged students to combine technical knowledge, creativity, experimentation and entrepreneurial thinking to become technology innovators rather than merely technology users.
The interactive nature of the programme enabled students to connect classroom learning with industry practices and understand the challenges and opportunities involved in transforming technological ideas into viable products and enterprises.
