Before joining BIT in 2016, he held positions like Associate Professor, Assistant Professor (Senior Grade), etc., at P A College of Engineering, Mangalore. He has published papers in both journals and conference proceedings. His fields of expertise include Mathematics, particularly topics like wavelets in nonparametric regression, graph theory, etc.

Dr. Abdullah Gubbi is a dedicated academician and researcher with over 30 years of teaching, research, and administrative experience in Electronics and Communication Engineering. As the Head of the Department of ECE at Bearys Institute of Technology, he has been instrumental in spearheading academic, research, and professional development initiatives, fostering innovation and excellence in engineering education. His research interests span across VLSI Design, Embedded Systems, Machine Learning, and Pattern Recognition, with a focus on real-world applications such as EEG-based stress detection, IoT systems, and intelligent computing solutions. He has guided numerous student projects and mentored activities under IEEE Student Branch and Beaspaire Student Association, inspiring students to pursue innovation and entrepreneurship. With a strong background in training, teaching, and curriculum development, Dr. Gubbi has contributed significantly through research publications, industry collaborations, technical events, and faculty development programs. Under his leadership, the department has witnessed substantial growth in student achievements, research output, industry linkages, and community engagement initiatives.

Dr. Vasantha Kumar is a distinguished academician and researcher with over 19 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering. He holds a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, an M.Tech. in Computer Integrated Manufacturing, and a Ph.D. in Biomaterials. As Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, he spearheads academic, research, and administrative initiatives, fostering innovation and excellence in education. His research expertise spans biomaterials, biomechanics, composite materials, and smart materials, and he currently supervises three Ph.D. scholars. With a proven record of impactful research publications, industry collaborations, and student mentorship, Dr. Kumar has significantly contributed to advancing departmental growth, research culture, and industry engagement.

Dr. Altamashuddin Khan Nadeemallah is an accomplished academic and researcher in Civil Engineering, currently serving as Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Civil
Engineering at Bearys Institute of Technology, Mangaluru. With a career spanning over a
decade in teaching, research, and administration, he has made significant contributions to
both academia and the professional community. He began his academic journey with a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from S.T.J. Institute of Technology, Ranebennur, followed by a Master of Technology in Computer-Aided Design of Structures from S.D.M. College of Engineering & Technology, Dharwad. His pursuit of excellence led him to the International Islamic University Malaysia, where he earned his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, specialising in concrete technology, sustainable construction materials, and the integration of machine learning into civil engineering applications. Throughout his career, Dr. Khan has taught a wide range of subjects including design of RC and pre-stressed concrete structures, fluid mechanics, geotechnical engineering, quantity surveying, and advanced topics like data analysis and problem-solving with Python. His research focuses on sustainable construction, particularly the use of manufactured sand and recycled PET waste in concrete, as well as machine learning-based models for predicting concrete strength and performance. His work has been widely published in Scopus and Web of Science-indexed journals and presented at international conferences in Thailand, Malaysia, and India. A recipient of several awards, including the Gold Award at the 2020 Kulliyyah of Engineering Research, Innovation and Commercialization Exhibition (KERICE), Dr. Khan has demonstrated excellence in research and innovation. He has authored multiple books on concrete technology and machine learning applications in civil engineering, further cementing his role as a thought leader in the field. Beyond research and teaching, he plays a pivotal role in institutional development. He has served as NBA and NAAC coordinator, organised placement and internship programmes, and guided numerous student projects funded by state and national bodies. His commitment extends to mentoring young engineers, fostering research collaborations, and bridging the gap between academia and industry. Dr. Khan combines technical expertise with strong communication and leadership skills. He remains dedicated to advancing sustainable engineering solutions, promoting academic excellence, and inspiring the next generation of civil engineers.

Dr. Mehaboob Mujawar is an accomplished academician and researcher, he has made significant contributions in the domains of Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, and allied areas. With a strong commitment to advancing knowledge and fostering innovation, he has authored six books, published over 36 research papers in reputed national and international journals and conferences, and contributed 15 book chapters to globally recognized publishers including CRC Press, Springer, Wiley, and Nova Publishers. In addition to his scholarly publications, he has also demonstrated a strong inclination toward innovation and intellectual property, holding four patents in emerging areas of technology. His expertise and academic reputation have earned him positions as a reviewer for leading international journals, further solidifying his role in shaping and advancing research standards. Dr. Mujawar is actively engaged with several professional bodies, being a member of IETE (Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers), ISTE (Indian Society for Technical Education), IAENG (International Association of Engineers), and INSC (Institute of Scholars). These affiliations reflect his continuous engagement with the academic and research community. Currently, he is serving as the Head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at Bearys Institute of Technology, Mangalore, where he is playing a pivotal role in academic leadership, curriculum development, research promotion, and nurturing the next generation of engineers and researchers.
