The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Bearys Institute of Technology (BIT), Mangaluru, in association with BIT-ADVA, organized a three-day industrial visit to Munnar and Kochi for seventh semester students. A total of 36 students along with three faculty members participated in the visit. The industrial visit was coordinated by Dr. Mehaboob Mujawar, Head of the Department, AI&DS. As part of the academic exposure, students visited GOD DATA, Munnar, where they gained valuable insights into recent trends in Artificial Intelligence, Flutter, and emerging job opportunities in the IT industry. The interaction helped students understand industry expectations and future career prospects. On Day 1, students visited Mattupetty Dam and Echo Point, providing an opportunity to explore the region and understand its environmental significance. Day 2 included a visit to a tea plantation followed by the industrial visit to GOD DATA, Munnar. On Day 3, students explored Kochi city, gaining cultural and practical exposure. The industrial visit successfully combined technical learning with experiential and cultural exposure. It enhanced students’ practical understanding, industry awareness, and teamwork, making the visit a meaningful and enriching academic experience.
