The Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized an Orientation Programme on 20th September 2023 to welcome the newly admitted first-year students and acquaint them with the department’s academic environment, facilities, and culture. The event aimed to inspire students as they embarked on their engineering journey and to help them adapt smoothly to college life.
The program began with a warm welcome address by the Head of the Department, who spoke about the department’s achievements, teaching methodologies, and commitment to academic excellence. Faculty members introduced themselves and provided an overview of the curriculum, skill development programs, internship opportunities, and placement support available to students.
Senior students shared their experiences and offered valuable advice on balancing academics with extracurricular activities. The event also featured an interactive session where newcomers could ask questions and express their aspirations.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks, leaving the students motivated, confident, and excited to begin their academic journey in the world of technology.
