The Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized a focused Training and Placement Programme on 10th June 2024 to enhance the employability skills of final-year and pre-final-year students. The session aimed to prepare students for upcoming campus recruitment drives by strengthening their technical, aptitude, and interpersonal skills.
The programme was inaugurated by the Head of the Department, who emphasized the importance of structured preparation, discipline, and continuous learning in securing placements. The Training and Placement Cell coordinated the event, ensuring effective resource support and smooth conduction.
The session covered various essential modules, including:
- Aptitude & Reasoning Training
Students were trained in quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, analytical thinking, and problem-solving techniques that are commonly tested during placement assessments.
- Technical Skill Enhancement
Experts provided guidance on core technical subjects such as:
- C and Java fundamentals
- Data Structures
- DBMS and SQL
- Operating Systems
- Basic programming challenges
Students also practiced common coding interview problems.

Students were assisted in preparing industry-standard resumes and were guided on:

- Do’s and Don’ts during interviews
The programme received excellent participation from CSE students, who appreciated the practical insights and hands-on activities. Trainers provided personalized feedback to help students improve their confidence and performance.
