The Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized an Orientation Program on 18th September 2024 to welcome the newly admitted students and introduce them to the department’s academic culture, vision, and values. The program aimed to help students transition smoothly into their academic journey and understand the opportunities available in the field of computer science.
The event began with an invocation song, followed by a welcome address by the Head of the Department, who briefed the students about the department’s achievements, faculty expertise, and infrastructural facilities. Faculty members highlighted the importance of discipline, teamwork, and continuous learning.
Interactive sessions were held to familiarize students with the curriculum structure, internship programs, research opportunities, and co-curricular activities offered by the department. Senior students also shared their experiences, motivating the newcomers to participate actively in academic and extracurricular initiatives.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks and a campus tour, leaving the students inspired and excited for their new academic journey in the world of technology.
