The Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized an Orientation Programme on 18th September 2024 to warmly welcome the newly admitted first-year students to the department. The event aimed to familiarize students with the academic environment, institutional values, and opportunities available to help them embark on their engineering journey with confidence and enthusiasm.
The programme commenced with a welcome address by the Head of the Department, who extended heartfelt greetings to the newcomers and highlighted the importance of discipline, dedication, and curiosity in achieving academic excellence., who motivated the students to make the best use of the facilities and resources provided by the institution.
Faculty members introduced themselves and briefed the students about the curriculum, co-curricular activities, departmental clubs, and research opportunities. Informative sessions were also conducted to guide students about campus life, code of conduct, and support systems available for academic and personal growth.
Interactive sessions and ice-breaking activities were organized to help students connect with peers and faculty members, fostering a sense of belonging and teamwork.
