The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Bearys Institute of Technology (BIT), Mangalore, organized the Inauguration of the Mechanical Engineering Students Association (MESA) for the academic year 2025–26, followed by a Technical Talk on “Thermal Management of Electronic Cabinets Using Pulsating Heat Pipes” on 25 November 2025 at the International Seminar Hall.
The event was graced by the Chief Guest, Dr. K. Rama Narasimha, Director, Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE), and Professor & Head of Mechanical Engineering, Srinivas University, Mukka, Mangalore.
The program was presided over by Dr. S. I. Manjur Basha, Principal, BIT, along with Dr. Vasantha Kumar, Head of the Department, Mechanical Engineering.
Dr. Imran Mokashi, Associate Professor, served as the MESA Coordinator for the event.
The session provided valuable insights into advanced thermal management techniques and encouraged student engagement in technical activities and professional development.
