The Bearys Institute of Technology (BIT) and Bearys Enviro Architecture Design School (BEADS) organized the Orientation Program 2025 on 8th September 2025, at 9:00 AM the BIT campus, Mangalore. The program aimed at welcoming the new batch of students and their parents, acquainting them with the legacy and values of Bearys Education.
The event began with registration and formalities, followed by the invocation and college introduction videos. An inspiring alumni video presentation showcased the achievements of Bearys graduates.
Dr. S. I. Manjur Basha, Principal of BIT, extended a warm welcome to the gathering. In his inaugural address, Mr. Siddique Beary, Trustee of Bearys Academy of Learning, emphasized the importance of entrepreneurship and encouraged students to consider establishing startups as a pathway to innovation and self-reliance.
The Chief Guest, Shri K. Raju Mogaveera, K.A.S., Registrar, Mangalore University, in his address, urged students to think out of the box to achieve success in today’s competitive world. He highlighted that creativity, resilience, and a forward-looking mindset are essential to excel in academics and professional life.
An award ceremony followed, where meritorious students were recognized for their accomplishments. Parents also shared their opinions, expressing appreciation for the institution’s commitment to holistic education.
Ms. Mariyam Shabnum, faculty of AI & DS, anchored the program as Master of Ceremonies, ensuring smooth coordination of the day’s proceedings. The formal vote of thanks was delivered by Ar. Khalil Razzak Shaik, Principal of BEADS.
The program concluded with the national anthem and a lunch session at the Boys Hostel Mess, leaving both students and parents motivated and inspired to embark on the new academic journey.
