The much popular sporting event of BIT, B League(UAE) football tournament was held at Malaeb Football Ground, Qusais, Dubai on 14th of January, 2022. The second season of B League(UAE) was conducted by the Alumni association of the institute in the UAE. 5 prominent teams played in the tournament named as Royal Shooters FC, Invaders FC, Legend Killers FC, Alfa FC & Cavaliers FC.
After a fantastic and enthusiastic display of football, the team “LEGEND KILLERS FC” emerged out as the Champions of the tournament, who defeated the team ROYAL SHOOTERS FC in the final match with a final score of “1 : 0”. The star striker Mr. Hisham scored the winning goal for Legend Killers FC. Goal Keeper Mr. Mubashir from LKFC has been selected as the Man of the Match in the final match. Team ‘Royal Shooters FC’ finished as the Runner up and Team ‘Alfa FC’ finished as the 2nd Runner up in the tournament. Icon Player Mr. Faqhiz from RSFC was awarded the Best Player in the tournament. Striker Mr. Hisham from LKFC was awarded the Top Scorer, Center Back Mr. Shalub from LKFC was awarded the Best Defender and Goal Keeper Mr. Mubashir from LKFC was awarded the best Goal Keeper in the tournament. The 2nd season of B League(UAE) also witnessed interesting football events among the lady members in the BITAIN family.
The BIT Alumni International(BITAIN) Board conveyed sincere gratitude to all their well wishers for the event including the main sponsor United Group – Mr. Ahamuddul Kabeer, other sponsors, participated team owners, spectators, media and all the other related individuals and groups.
BITAIN President, Mr. Afzal told that the association is growing day by day and now consists of more than 200 members settled at various parts of UAE. A momento was awarded to the “B League Committee” for their excellent conduction of the event “B League Season 2”.
