One-Day FDP on Effective Use of ERP Held at BIT Faculties and Coordinators Trained for Enhanced Student-Parent Engagement

Mangalore, on 24-07-2025 A one-day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on the “Effective Use of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning)” was organized at Bearys Institute of Technology (BIT),NAAC accredited .The session was aimed at empowering faculty members, student coordinators, and parent coordinators with the knowledge and skills needed to optimize ERP usage for seamless academic and administrative interaction.
The training was conducted by Ms. Nisha, ERP trainer from Heraizen Technologies, who guided the participants through the key features and applications of the ERP platform. The session was coordinated by Dr. Abdullah Gubbi, Head of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, who welcomed the resource person and participants.
In his opening address, Dr. Abdullah Gubbi emphasized the growing importance of ERP systems in academic institutions. He noted that the platform serves as a vital bridge between the institution, students, and parents, ensuring transparency, timely communication, and academic monitoring.
Ms. Nisha conducted a comprehensive walkthrough of the ERP interface, demonstrating modules related to student attendance, internal assessment marks, examination updates, feedback collection, and parent communication. The hands-on session also focused on best practices for data entry and system maintenance, encouraging faculty and coordinators to ensure real-time updates and data accuracy.
The interactive training witnessed enthusiastic participation, with faculty members raising relevant queries and sharing practical challenges. Ms. Nisha addressed each concern with clarity and offered simplified workflows to ensure ease of use.
The program concluded with Prof.Sinan of CSE expressed gratitude to Heraizen Technologies for their continuous support in ERP implementation and to Ms. Nisha for delivering an impactful session.
