Mangaluru, Nov. 12: The Library and Information Centre of Bearys Institute of Technology (BIT), in collaboration with VTU Centre for Online Education (COE), Belagavi, conducted an offline awareness session on the VTU COE (HMCS) Online Programme at the International Seminar Hall.
Mr. Gunakara D, Librarian and Institutional Coordinator, welcomed the gathering. The Principal highlighted the importance of digital learning and encouraged students to make use of VTU’s MOOCs.
Resource Person Mr. Subodh, Soft Skills Trainer and MOOC Facilitator from VTU, explained MOOC registration procedures and the benefits of VTU’s online learning ecosystem. Around 160 students and faculty attended the session and provided positive feedback.
Dignitaries were felicitated, and a memento was presented to the Resource Person. Mr. Rakshith M.A., Assistant Librarian, delivered the Vote of Thanks.
Student Ambassadors Mohammed Junaid Raza, M S Shihabuddeen, and Aysha Manooha assisted in coordinating the programme. The event was hosted by Ms. Fathimath Ramzeena, with the prayer led by Ms. Maleeha and team.
