Entrepreneurship, Skill, Attitude, and Behavior Development.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering and the Institutions Innovation Council at BIT hosted a workshop titled “Entrepreneurship, Skill, Attitude, and Behavior Development.”
The Mechanical Engineering Students Association (MESA), in collaboration with the Institutions Innovation Council (IIC) of BIT, successfully organized this workshop on February 22, 2024, at the International Seminar Hall, BIT.

Dr. Imran Mokashi, the IIC President & Convener of BIT, coordinated the workshop. Dr. Vasantha Kumar, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, extended a warm welcome to the attendees. The Presidential address was delivered by Dr. S I Manjur Basha, Principal of BIT, while Mr. Shahejahan from the Mechanical Engineering Department served as the master of ceremony for the event.

During the workshop, Mr. Rajarama C. G., CEO of Ecobliss, counseled the students and motivated them to envision themselves as entrepreneurs with a commitment to serving the community and nation. He shared his experiences in establishing Ecobliss, the first industry to introduce Areca nut leaf plates to European markets. Mr. Rajarama, a Mechanical Engineer, inspired students from Mechanical Engineering and other branches to develop their technical skills and adopt a service-oriented attitude.

Mr. Donson D’Souza, Chief Operating Officer & Client Relations at Blackfrog Technologies Pvt. Ltd., interacted with the attendees, sharing his experiences in research and development for creating “The Portable Medical-Grade Refrigerator,” used for storing and transporting vaccinations and organs. He inspired the students to cultivate a diligent work ethic toward their dreams and aspirations.

Concluding the event, Dr. Sandeep Nambiar S. delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks.
