The students of BIT celebrated Onam in the traditional style at the campus on September 9, 2019. The Campus was filled with festive decorations which displayed the culture and tradition of Kerala. Students created a multi-coloured floral decoration on the ground in the entrance of our college called “Pookalam”, which is considered as a symbol for secularism. Wearing traditional clothes like Kasavu and the traditional off-white saree with golden border, students organized events such as group songs around the Pookalam, musical chair and Tug of war, Pillow fight among other events on this occasion. Traditional Onam Sadhya was served.
