1. COMPUTER PROGRAMMING LAB
A computer programming lab is a space where students can learn and practice coding skills using various programming languages and tools. It provides access to computers and software, as well as guidance and support from instructors or lab assistants. Programming labs are essential for hands-on learning and developing practical programming skills.
2. DBA / COMPUTER GRAPHICS LAB
The database and computer graphics lab is specifically designed to facilitate student learning and practice in the fields of database management and computer graphics design. Equipped with computers and specialized software, the lab offers resources and support from instructors or lab assistants to help students create and implement database systems and design visual graphics.
3. MOBILE APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT LABORATORY
The mobile application development lab is a designated area that provides students with the tools and resources necessary to learn and develop their mobile app development skills. Equipped with essential hardware and software, students can design, build, and test mobile applications for various platforms such as Android, with access to guidance and support from knowledgeable staff.
4. EC & LD /MICROPROCESSORS LAB
The analog and digital electronics lab is a dedicated environment where students can learn and explore the principles of electronic circuits, devices, and systems. Equipped with essential hardware and software, students can design and test analog and digital circuits for diverse applications, with access to knowledgeable staff for guidance and assistance.
5. DATA STRUCTURES/ALGORITHMS LAB
A data structure and algorithm lab is a specialized area where students can study and experiment with the foundational principles of computer science, namely data structures and algorithms. The lab offers access to computer equipment and software, as well as instructional resources and assistance from lab staff. Through the lab, students can hone their problem-solving skills and develop optimized algorithms to manipulate data structures effectively.
6. NETWORK LAB / SERVER ROOM
The computer networks lab is a specialized facility where students can acquire hands-on experience in computer networking. Equipped with the necessary hardware and software, students can design, configure and test computer networks, learning various protocols and techniques.
EVENTS
The dignitaries present to grace this occasion included Principals from various institutions, as well as esteemed guest alumni, Mr.Mohammed Shahid and Ms. Abida Shama.
The prayer team, led by Ms. Annath and her team, commenced the event with a solemn prayer. Following the prayer, Prof. Mohammed Sinan Marikattay, HOD, CSE delivered a warm welcome speech, setting the tone for the inauguration ceremony. Subsequently, Dr. Aziz Musthafa, Principal BIES led the attendees in the oath-taking ceremony, emphasizing their commitment to the goals and values of the Computer Engineering Association.
Dr. Manjur Basha S I, Principal BIT provided guidance to the CEABIT department coordinator, Prof. Umaira, Assistant Professor Dept of CSE, and the student bodies, offering valuable insights and direction for the successful execution of the association’s activities throughout the academic year.
Various events were conducted in the afternoon session, showcasing the diverse talents and skills of the participants. The winners of these events were recognized and honored with prizes as a token of appreciation for their outstanding performances.

The Department of Computer Science faculties organized a “Welcoming Second Year Students” Program on 16-11-2023 to the students of Computer Science Engineering and Artificial Intelligence & Data Science departments.
The program was conducted in the International Seminar Hall, with the Principals of various institutions of Bearys Group of Education, HODs of various departments of BIT, and teaching and non-teaching staff of the Computer Science and AI&DS department in attendance.
The program commenced at 10:30 AM with a prayer song and Prof. Mohammed Sinan Marikattay, the in-charge HOD of Computer Science and Engineering, extended a warm welcome to all the dignitaries and the newly arriving students. This was followed by inspirational and motivational talk by Dr. Manjur Basha S I, Principal BIT. Dr Aziz Musthafa, Principal BIES told about the recent technology development exponentially in both departments.
In the afternoon session, various entertaining activities were conducted for both students and faculty members. The winners of these activities were awarded prizes. The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the in-charge HOD of the CSE department Prof. Mohammed Sinan.
During his session, Mr. Saqib encouraged and guided students towards their Career. Emphasized students to enhance their Technical Skills, Soft Skills which in turn will help as a weapon during interviews. Mr. Saqib advised students to be disciplined not motivated, as effect of motivation will be for short term.
To stand out in this competitive world, students have to have their fundamentals strong, set a clear goal, learn from setbacks. He shared insights about Jumpwhere platform founded by him.

The event was inaugurated with a welcome address by Dr. Abdullah Gubbi, the IEEE Branch Counsellor, paving the way for profound discussions. The resource persons then took the stage, divulging their experiences and expertise, emphasizing the evolving nature of the IT industry and pathways to prosperity. Attendees actively participated in an interactive session, posing questions and seeking guidance from the speakers. The event culminated with heartfelt gratitude expressed by Ms. Huda from the CSE department .

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering has organized One day workshop on “Intro Into Blockchain” in association with IEEE bit student branch and CEABIT for the faculty members as well as for the students. The official ceremony is conducted in Block B Internation Seminar Hall followed by workshop in block-A, Mobile Application Development Laboratory, Beary’s Institute of Technology, Mangalore on 29 April 2023.The resource person for this event was Mr. Hardik Singh and Mr. Chirag Ravishankar.
The program was presided by Dr.Aziz Musthafa vice principal of,BIT Mangalore and prof. Sinan incharge HOD has given the behavioral guidelines to the students and it also coordinated by Prof. Umme Najma faculty coordinator of IEEE bit student.
The program was commenced by welcome speech by Mr. Mohammed Junaid , member of CEABIT 8th sem CSE, followed by introduction of guests which was done by Mr.Mohammed Hashik 8th sem CSE, secretary of CEABIT and the program was hosted by Ayshath Surayya student of 8th sem CSE.
In this session Mr. Hardik Singh and Mr. Chirag Ravishankar has deliverd brief introduction about the blockchain technology followed by practical session.
At the end of the session guest are honored by Prof. Sinan incharge HOD of CSE Department.

The talk was aimed at providing insights into the latest technology trends and the opportunities that lie ahead for students in the field of technology. Mr. Nittoor began the talk by discussing the importance of keeping up with the latest technological advancements and how it can benefit students in the long run.
He discussed some of the latest technology trends that are currently shaping the world, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Big Data, Cloud Computing, and the Internet of Things (IoT). He explained these technologies and how they are being used in various industries, ranging from healthcare to finance.
Mr. Nittoor also highlighted the importance of soft skills such as communication, problem-solving, and teamwork in the technology industry. He advised students to work on these skills alongside their technical skills to enhance their employability.
The complete event received enthusiastic support from the students and staff members. The Event was graced by Dr. S.I Manjur Basha, Principal, BIT-Mangalore. Dr. Abdullah Gubbi, Branch Counselor, IEEE (Institute of Electronics and Electrical Engineering)-SB, Prof Umme Najma, Secretary welcomed the gathering. The Session began with highlighting the student chapter benefits for students, Faculties, Institutions and society by Chief Guest Dr. Poornalatha. The inaugural ceremony commenced with the watering of plants by the dignitaries. Then Followed by a talk on industry-oriented opportunities for the student members and non-members by the Guest of Honor, Dr. Mohit.
Guest of Honor, Ashwini Holla, shared the experiences of the various student members around the globe, emphasizing the importance of networking. Dr. U C Niranjan gave a technical talk on Applications of Embedded System and interacted with the students. The session provided a learning experience with a question and answer session. The Students of Various Engineering Branches and Bachelor of Computer Application were present. The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Prof. Umme Najma, Asst. Professor, Dept of CSE and master of ceremony was Ms. Salma N, Student of the ECE Branch. The program concluded with National Anthem.

Meeting started at 09:30 am with welcome speech by Prof.Mohammed Sinan CSE department followed by inspirational speech by Dr.Manjur Bhasha Principal of BIT and Prof. Umme Najma and Prof,jalaludheen CSE department.Career guidance speech was given by Dr.Aziz Musthafa HOD of CSE department . Parents were informed about the subjects, University internal eligibility criteria as well as passing criteria, the importance of attendance for the same and overall progression of the class and their performance in 1st and 2nd internal exam.
Most of the parents asked about their ward’s study progression and how they can improve more for upcoming exams. They were asked to advise their ward to work harder for next exam and college will also help them preparing better for future.

The CEA-BIT (Computer Engineering Association Bearys Institute of Technology) association has been organized student body inauguration by the computer science department on 28-11-2022 at international seminar hall BIT, in the presence of chief guest Mr.Imran Baig Dr.Manjur Bhasha , principal of BIT and Dr. Aziz Musthafa Head of Department.
The inaugural function commenced with prayer song, welcome address was delivered by Prof. Mohammed Sinan, CSE department followed by introducing the chief guest, CEABIT and student body done by Prof. Afsar Baig CSE department. chief coordination Dr. Nubila Jaleel and Prof. Umaira Assistant Professor Department of CSE. Students body involves President Mr. Saad Adam from 4th year, vice presidents Ms. Shireen Fathima and Mr. Ajmal from 4th and 3rd year respectively, secretary Mr. Hashik treasurer Mr. Sajjad and Mr. Arfaz from 4th and 3rd year respectively and members Mr. Abishek, Ms. Minnah, Mr.Rashid, Ms. Afeefa and Mr. junaid.

Afternoon session various competitions have held as an opportunity to showcase various skills and talents of students. The winners were encouraged with a cash prizes. Ms. Umme Najma Professor of CSE Department delivered the vote of thanks.The team of CEABIT feels proud to organize such a successful event and would like to convey thanks to principal and management for their timely advice and cooperation.
During the meeting, Prof. Sinan and Prof. Baig M exchanged insights and feedback with Mr. Patil, fostering a deeper understanding of the internships’ impact on both the students and the company. Additionally, the trio engaged in constructive conversations aimed at cementing a long-lasting relationship between the academic institution and Shine Infotech.
