The Bearys Institute of Technology (BIT) students have come up with homemade masks to protect from corona virus. Ms. Afeefa and Ms. Priya of computer Science Engineering have designed the mask which is made from easily available materials at home like cloth bag, elastic, needle and thread. The students told they wanted to do something on their part to fight this pandemic. They were of the opinion that with the shortage of PPE and N95 masks, it’s our duty to make masks at home and use so that the N95 masks are easily available for the medical professionals and others who are fighting out there for us. Mr. Syed Mohamed Beary, Chairman of Bearys group appreciated the students for their efforts and concern. Principal, Dr. S.I Manjur Basha lauded their timely action. The Heads and faculties of BIT Engineering, Polytechnic and BEADS have distributed the masks locally.
