Department of Mechanical Engineering organized a “FAREWELL FUNCTION” for the batch 2018-22 at Bearys Knowledge Campus on 21st July 2022. The Chief Guest and resource person for the program was Dr. Shivaprasad K V, Department of Engineering, Durham University, United Kingdom. The program intent was displayed by showing a promotional video on Mechanical engineering evolution and development. This was followed by escorting of the dignitaries to the dais.
Dr.Vasantha Kumar (HOD, Mechanical Engg. Dept.) welcome the gathering, The dignitaries were presented with bouquets. The program was witnessed by Principal of BIT Dr.S I Manjur Basha, Director of BIT Polytechnic Dr.Aziz Mustafa and also Heads of various departments.
Dr.S I Manjur Basha Principal of BIT Mangalore gave a welcome address to the audience and wished them with his motivational speech. Dr. Aziz Mustafa delivered motivational speech and briefed the future opportunities to Mechanical Engineers. Dr.Imran Mokashi introduced resource person and the resource person Dr.Shivaprasad K V was presented a technical talk on “Free Piston Engines”. All the students were felicitated by the chief guest and Head of Department Dr.Vasantha Kumar. The program concluded with vote of thanks by Mr.Mohammed Kaif.
