The Mechanical Engineering Association organized an invited talk on “Recent Advancement in Noise Pollution Control”, by Dr S A Khan (Professor, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), Kuala Lampur, Former scientist DRDO) on 27th October 2018 at International Seminar Hall. The audience were from the Mechanical Department. On this occasion the Principal, Dean (Academics), heads of Civil, CS & ECE departments, and ME faculty members were present.
Dr S.A Khan interacted with students between 02.00 pm to 4 pm and shared his experiences with them. He discussed the parameters of noise control. Dr. Khan also gave a brief overview of his contribution to the DRDO such as the alterations he made in the missile and rocket to adopt longer trajectories. In the end, he talked about his ongoing research at IIUM, and developments being made with the rise in the modern era of science and technology.
