On Behalf of the Association of Civil Engineering on 27th Oct 2018 final and pre-final year students of the Department of Civil Engineering conducted Fresher’s Day for 3rd-semester students. The program was inaugurated by in charge Principal Dr. Abdullah Gubbi.
Mr. Poornesh, 7th-semester civil engineering as a Master of ceremony of the function welcome the gathering.
The program was started by the prayer followed by the welcome address by Kateejath Saman Abdulla, 7th-semester civil engineering.
First and Foremost Prof. Purushothama CT Head of the department, Department of Civil Engineering Advised Students that Senior Students should be Friendly and guide their juniors and 2nd year Students need to respect and follow the Seniors Advice.
Dr. Aziz Musthafa, Principal, BIT Polytechnic Appreciated the Food which was arranged for the Afternoon Lunch and also advised all the Civil Students about the Academics.
Dr. Musthafa Basthikodi, Head of the department, computer science Mentioned that there are no seniors or juniors in the students, all students are equal.
Finally, Incharge principal Dr. Abdullah Gubbi sir advised students to get good score in the examinations and also to attend the classes regularly.
Class Toppers of the 6th semester Ms. Rukiyath Rizwana and 4th semester Mr. Himanth Raju were awarded by memento and also all second-year students were gifted by a Memento as a token of love.
The formal function was concluded with vote of thanks by Mr. Zahid NH, 5TH Semester civil engineering.
