Pavoor, December 14, 2024: The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) at Bearys Institute of Technology (BIT), in collaboration with the BIT IEEE Student Branch, organized a project exhibition for students from the Government High School, Pavoor. The event, held at BIT’s ECE Department, witnessed enthusiastic participation from around 60 high school students.
The exhibition showcased innovative projects developed by ECE students, primarily focusing on the Internet of Things (IoT) and embedded systems. The projects featured a variety of sensor-based applications, providing a hands-on learning experience for the visitors. From automated irrigation systems to home automation prototypes, the exhibits highlighted the potential of technology in solving real-world problems. The exhibition was interactive, with ECE students explaining the working principles and applications of their projects, sparking curiosity and interest among the high school students
The event commenced with a warm welcome address delivered by Dr. Abdullah Gubbi, Head of the ECE Department. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof. Abdul Jabbar of the ECE Department, acknowledging the efforts of the organizing team and the enthusiastic participation of the high school students.
