Mangaluru, September 20, 2023 – Bearys Institute of Technology and Bearys Enviro-Architecture Design School (BEADS), Mangalore, organized an enlightening orientation program for their newly enrolled undergraduate students. The program aimed to welcome students pursuing various disciplines, including Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Electronics & Communication, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Bachelor in Architecture.
The event commenced at the International Seminar Hall at 10:00 AM and was graced by esteemed guests. Dr. Manjunatha Pattabhi, Professor & Chairman of the Department of Material Science at Mangalore University, presided as the chief guest. The inaugural address was delivered by Syed Mohammed Beary, Chairman of Bearys Group & Bearys Academy of Learning.
The audience consisted of proud parents, esteemed dignitaries, and dedicated faculty members, creating a vibrant atmosphere.
The primary objective of the orientation program was to familiarize both parents and students with various academic aspects of the courses, institute regulations, and to encourage parental involvement in monitoring and supporting students’ academic journey.
Dr. S I Manjur Basha, Principal of BIT, Mangalore, extended a warm welcome to all attendees, setting a positive tone for the event.
Syed Mohammed Beary addressed the students, emphasizing the significance of three essential elements in life: “Niyyat” (intention), “Mehnat” (effort), and “Barakat” (blessing) as keys to success in any endeavour. He shared Bearys Group’s vision of contributing to a progressive, peaceful, and greener world while nurturing leaders in the fields of science and technology. He highlighted the institute’s commitment to sustainable, environmentally friendly education.
Dr. Manjunatha encouraged attentiveness and dedication in students, assuring them that success and financial prosperity would naturally follow diligent efforts. He stressed the importance of innovative thinking.
The program aimed to bridge the gap between students and faculty, acquainting students with the college culture, and elucidating the code of conduct. It also created awareness among students about the various co-curricular and extra-curricular activities designed to foster their holistic development.
Ar. Khalil, Principal of BEADS, enlightened the audience on the career development process and the cultivation of essential skills.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks from Dr. Aziz Mustafa B, Principal of BIES, who emphasized the importance of professional etiquette and raised awareness among students regarding its significance.
The program concluded solemnly with the rendition of the National Anthem.
