“Interview Ready: Building Personality” session conducted on January 24, 2025, aimed to prepare first-year BE students with the essential skills and knowledge required to excel in job interviews. Mr. Karrthik Alva, an experienced Aviation and Personality Development Trainer, Thrust facilitated the session, which fostered interactive learning and personal growth.
Mr. Alva started by emphasizing the importance of personal branding in today’s competitive job market. He provided insights on how students can effectively communicate their unique qualities and strengths to potential employers. Key techniques for enhancing verbal and non-verbal communication were discussed.
Mr. Alva conducted activities that helped students practice clear articulation, active listening, and appropriate body language. The session included practical exercises designed to build self-confidence. Techniques to manage anxiety before and during interviews were shared, enabling students to present themselves with assurance.
Mr. Alva, stressed on the importance of Personal Grooming which is an important part of managing an Individual’s Image, which helps in Building a First Good Impression, by having a pleasing, an attractive appearance.
The session covered common interview questions and strategies for responding to them. Students had the opportunity to practice interview scenarios and receive constructive feedback from Mr. Alva. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A segment, allowing students to clarify doubts and ask for advice on specific challenges they may face in their career journey.
