The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at Bearys Institute of Technology, Mangalore, organized an industrial visit to the Comedkares Innovation Hub, Mangalore, on 25th September 2024. A total of 61 students participated in this enriching visit, where they had the opportunity to attend a hands-on workshop on building robots, conducted by Comedkares.
The visit was led by faculty members Ms. Shabnam, Ms. Huzaina, and the Head of the Department, Dr. Mehaboob Mujawar. During the visit, Mr. Arvind Kumar from Comedkares provided detailed insights into various cutting-edge technologies, including laser cutting machines, lathe machines, 3D printing, and PCB machines.
The students gained valuable exposure to robotics, learning about its practical applications and the future scope of integrating Artificial Intelligence and Data Science into robotics. This event proved to be an insightful and inspiring experience for all participants, enhancing their knowledge of AI-driven innovations and their real-world applications.
