The IEEE Student Branch of BIT hosted an enlightening event on the 25th of September, 2023, at the International Seminar Hall. The event brought together experts in the fields of Big Data Analytics and Machine Learning Techniques to share their knowledge and insights with students and faculty.
Dr. Sanjeevakumar M Hatture, a distinguished faculty member from Nagarjuna College of Engineering and Technology, Bangalore, delivered a captivating talk on Big Data Analytics. His expertise and deep understanding of this cutting-edge field provided attendees with valuable insights into the world of data analysis and interpretation. Followed by, Dr. Rashmi P. Karchi, another esteemed resource person from Nagarjuna College of Engineering and Technology, Bangalore, delved into the fascinating realm of Machine Learning Techniques. Her presentation explored the latest advancements and applications of machine learning, inspiring students to explore this rapidly evolving field.
The event was coordinated by Dr. Abdullah Gubbi, the IEEE Branch Counselor of BIT Mangalore, ensuring a smooth experience for all participants. Ms. Salma Nadaf, representing the ECE department, took on the role of Master of Ceremonies (MC) for the program.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Prof. Najma from the CSE Department. Prof. Najma expressed gratitude to the resource persons, organizers, and attendees for making the event a resounding success.
