Vice chancellor of Mangalore University, Dr. Byrappa Inaugurated Supersonic Aerodynamics Laboratory on May 16th, 2015.Dr. S. A. Khan, Dean R&D of BIT, briefly explained to the visitors about the equipment available and demonstrated the working of the sophisticated equipment available. He explained that the advanced laboratory would work on aerodynamic related issues like base drag, trajectories, design of micro nozzles to control flow etc. He pointed out that the facility was only the second such facility available in Karnataka.
