BIT and BEADS organized a one-day interactive session on futuristic technology at 11:00 AM on 3rd May 2019 at International Seminar Hall. The interactive session aimed at providing knowledge on emerging Electronics. In his talk, he gave the details about Printable electronics, or printed electronics, polymer electronics, organic electronics or plastic electronics, is the cutting-edge technology for creating fully functional active and passive electrically functional electronic or optical components on flexible/rigid polymer/glass substrates by using precision printing and deposition methods. Printable electronics has literally revolutionized the consumer and strategic electronics sectors. Exotic products like bio-medical wristbands and curved OLED TVs are just a few examples. In 2014 he has completed research on P-OLED based medical diagnostic tool.

Mr. Syed Mohammed Beary, Chairman, Bearys Academy of Learning gave the presidential address.in his speech he told students to thick out of the box, to create products that lead towards sustainable development. Dr. Mahabaleswarappa, Principal- BIT, delivered the welcome address and introduced the Mr. Umer Salim to the audience. Dr. Abdullah Gubbi, Professor and Head, Department of ECE, delivered the vote of thanks. Master of the ceremony of the event was Dr. Shoaib Kamal, Associate Professor, Department of ECE. The program was witnessed by various Department Heads and Faculties. This session helped the faculties and students to gain knowledge of research in the area of the above domains. The interaction with the speaker also helped a few students to get different project ideas. The event concluded with National Anthem.
