diploma
Diploma program is a 3- year program for those who are short on time and high on ambition. These courses come with the advantage of familiarizing students with the essential knowledge in their field of interest in a shorter duration. During your diploma engineering studies, you will explore some of the general concepts, principles and practices of engineering, develop your technical skills and build upon your knowledge with experiential hands-on training. This nature of our Learn by doing philosophy prepares you for highly-coveted internship positions. Upon successful completion of a Diploma program, you qualify for entry- level engineering roles or you will be allowed to enter second year of undergraduate program.

Bachelors’s in
Computer Application

Students at the time of admission can also register for specialization in the fields like
1)Artificial Intelligence
2)Internet of Things
At the end of programme, students are able to carry a certificate of specialization in fields mentioned above.
Bachelors of
Science

The course of B.Sc. (Hons) targets giving a high level of theoretical and research abilities in the science subject, and overall knowledge in the sciences to give the students areas of strength for a high-level platform for an advanced academic or professional career. The new National Education Policy (NEP – 2020) brought many changes to the education system. One of the significant changes is of the 3-year undergraduate study structure into a 4-year standard with numerous entry and exit points to make higher education more suitable for later employment. According to this idea, VTU has started four-year BSc (Honours) courses from the year 2021-22. The courses are expertise-based, decision-based and cross-disciplinary, trans-disciplinary, and multi-disciplinary in nature would give the students the choice of electives across the disciplines according to the goals of the new NEP. The students have the arrangement to proceed with their education to post-graduation as well as Ph.D., after the fulfillment of a three-year certification, students might pursue a specialization in a particular subject or can do research for one year. In BSc (honors) Degree, students have the choice to take a blend of significant subjects, for example, physics, chemistry, mathematics, and computer science, and electives from different branches of engineering.
