Department of mechanical engineering conducted a workshop on Connecting engineers to MEP Industry at Bearys Knowledge Campus at 27/02/2020. Mohammad Tashreef (Master of ceremony) flagged off by addressing the gathering about the event followed by the invocation. The workshop intent was displayed by showing a promotional video on Mechanical engineering evolution and development. This was followed by escorting of the dignitaries to the dais.
Mahendra M. Dhogadi (HOD, Mechanical Engg. Dept.) gave the welcomed the gathering to the auspicious occasion. The dignitaries were presented with bouquets. Presented an overview and need of the workshop. He said that the motive of such a workshop is to update the knowledge of students employment opportunity and scope in the field of Mechanical Engineering and also introduced about chief guest Mr.Cheluru Vinod Kumar.
S.I. Manjur Basha Principal of BIT Mangalore gave a welcome address to the audience and all other department’s HOD and staff and also admired the Mechanical Engineering Department’s students and staff for their recent achievement in project work and praised Dr. Vasantha Kumar for getting Doctorate award. And also advised all mechanical students to give more concentration on studies and make mechanical department topper in whole Mangaluru region as the first milestone in the field of academic and other extra curriculum activity. Vasantha Kumar gave the vote of thanks.
