The Bearys Group of institutions in association with BIT IEEE Student chapter have taken a bold step towards promoting sustainability and nurturing future leaders with an innovative approach to learning on 26th Feb 2023 at 7:00 AM. The focus is on inspiring young minds to become advocates of sustainable architecture and environmentally conscious leaders, with the vision of contributing to a progressive and peaceful greener world.

The event was attended by the Principal of BIT, BEADS, and, as well as heads of various departments, faculty members, non-teaching staff, and students of these educational institutions. Together, they worked to clean up the beach and make it a cleaner, safer place for everyone to enjoy.

The objective of the beach clean-up initiative was to promote a sense of responsibility towards nature and encourage good hygiene practices, with a particular emphasis on tackling marine pollution and reducing the harmful practice of littering beaches with garbage and plastic. This was done with the aim of preventing further damage and depletion of marine life in our oceans. The students involved in the initiative effectively raised public awareness by displaying banners on environmental cleanliness and using slogans to engage beach-goers at Ullala Beach. Furthermore, hand gloves, sanitizers, and cleaning bags were distributed to all the participants to ensure that the clean-up was conducted safely and efficiently.

Overall, the beach cleanup drive at Ullala Beach was a resounding success. It brought together the local community and created awareness about the importance of maintaining a clean and healthy environment. It is a reminder to everyone that even small actions can go a long way in preserving our planet for future generations.
